The University of Alabama football program landed a veteran kicker from the NCAA transfer portal.
Graham Nicholson, a former player at the University of Miami at Ohio, committed to the Crimson Tide on Sunday after capturing the Lou Groza Award in 2023. He was the nation’s best kicker — making 27 of 28 field goals and 35 of 37 extra point attempts.
Nicholson is expected to fill the shoes that Will Reichard, the NCAA’s all-time leader for points, leaves behind.
Alabama fans knew kicker was a marquee need, and they are overjoyed to have an experienced one.
