A Chelsea fan favourite has just announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of this season after speculating about his future has been ongoing for a long time now.

It’s the news that most of us was expecting, yet we just didn’t know when it was coming.

But defender Thiago Silva has announced that he will departing the club when his current contract runs out at the end of June.

There has been some doubts over whether Silva has already played his last game for the club after getting injured in Saturday’s draw against Aston Villa, but he will hope to at least make one more appearance in order to say his goodbyes.
